This course is based on the Department of Homeland Security’s RUN, HIDE FIGHT model and examines the psychology behind the motivation, threat recognition, and reaction. The lead Instructor is a former member and Senior Training Officer at the Toronto Police Service Emergency Task Force. In addition to his 30+ years in policing, he also draws from a personal experience of being a teenager in a high school besieged by an active shooter.
