ACTIVE ATTACKER RESPONSE COURSE

An active attacker is an individual actively engaged in killing, attempting to kill or harm people in a confined space or other populated area. These incidents are by their very nature, unpredictable and evolve quickly. The phenomenon of targeted violence at schools, workplaces, public facilities and government offices has grown exponentially and demands a high level of preparedness to mitigate the risk to people and property. At ISN, we know preparation is the key and this interactive, one-day course prepares your employees and security personnel to respond quickly and appropriately.

ISN’s Active Attacker Preparedness and Response Course is the most effective way for your organization to protect itself from an internal or external threat. Our experts train your employees to navigate an active attacker event and provides practical emergency response options that are appropriate for your facility. This course is based on the Department of Homeland Security’s RUN, HIDE FIGHT model and examines the psychology behind the motivation, threat recognition, and reaction. This model is widely accepted and utilized around the world as a best practice.
